Ahmed Adlan is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, and an honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Manchester. He is UK trained having undertaken Cardiology training at West Midlands and North West Mersey deanery, followed by an advanced Electrophysiology fellowship at Wythenshawe Hospital. He has a passion for education and has been an active member of the BCS having been past sub-editor and deputy editor of the BCS editorials. His research interests include syncope, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and sudden death.
