Dr Yusuf Kiberu graduated from the University of Oradea, Romania and completed his foundation and internal medicine training in London and Cambridge. He is currently a Cardiology registrar (ST5) in the East of England deanery. He is passionate about medical education and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) and a Cambridge medical student clinical supervisor. He is also a director of the British Ugandan Doctors Association (BUDA), bringing together doctors of Ugandan ancestry in the UK, to promote healthcare initiatives within the diaspora as well as in Uganda.
