Raheel Ahmed
Dr Raheel Ahmed graduated from Newcastle University in 2014. He was into his ST5 of cardiology training in September 2021 before he went out of programme (OOP) to start a PhD post at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He currently holds an integral position in the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh's (RCPe) Trainees and Members' Committee and is part of MRCP PACES scenario writing group. He is the current winner of the National John Munro Medal for Excellence in Teaching award (2021). He has a strong interest in research and has published several articles and abstracts so far, starting in medical school with an article published in Journal of American College of Cardiology (JACC). He also works as a reviewer for European Heart Journal - Case Reports.
