Dr Kayla Chiew is an NIHR academic clinical fellow in cardiology at Barts Health NHS Trust. She graduated from Imperial College London in 2019 with an intercalated Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiovascular Sciences. Her research during this time focused on Arrhythmic Risk Stratification as well as AV Sequential Pacing to Reduce Outflow Tract Obstruction in Patients with Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy. She hopes to pursue subspecialty training in intervention, and has an interest in coronary physiology, structural heart disease, and clinical trials.
