Completed objectives will be included on your certificate.
Supervised training sessions available:
  • How to perform a transthoracic Echo (live Echo sessions on volunteers)
  • Live CMR scanning and CMR post-processing
  • Cardiac CT post-processing
  • Nuclear cardiology post-processing
Booking Sessions

Sessions will be extremely popular, and places are limited, so anyone wishing to attend is strongly advised to book sessions as early as possible. There will be no drop-in sessions available, all sessions must be pre-booked online.

All sessions will last 60 minutes (90 minutes for live CMR scanning) and will consist of a tutorial with an experienced clinical trainer and application specialist.

Cancellation Policy

Due to the demand for sessions and the considerable resources invested, we expect all sessions to be fully utilised. As such, any cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to attend a training session will be taken very seriously by BCS. Any trainee who fails to attend a booked session will have any other booked sessions cancelled and will be contacted by the Programme Committee. They will also be asked to explain in writing why they did not attend the meeting. Individual Training Program Directors will also be contacted.

Certificates

Upon successful completion of a training session a certificate from the British Cardiovascular Society will be awarded confirming that learning relating to these objectives has taken place. This certificate can be incorporated into the trainee’s e-Portfolio and linked to the appropriate part of the curriculum. The certificate will be emailed in pdf format to the email address used to register for the session.

Feedback

All delegates who attend a training session will be expected to provide feedback after the event via an online survey which will be emailed to them.
