All nominees must complete and submit nominations by 13:00 on Wednesday 18 March 2020. Nominations are currently open for 11 positions on the BCS Executive, Council and Committees for 2020.

The Society seeks nominations for the below 11 elected positions on the British Cardiovascular Society Executive, Council and Committees for 2020.

Positions on Council and Committees are open to all ordinary/executive members of the Society.

For executive positions, application is limited to those members who have already stood on BCS Council and/or Committees.

An email was sent to all eligible BCS members on Wednesday 19 February with details on the positions open for nomination and  how to apply. If you are a member and did not receive the email, please contact membership@bcs.com to ensure your contact details are correct and you are opted in.

Please note that (i) application for multiple positions is discouraged and (ii) regular attendance (>75%) at meetings is expected for all roles.

Timelines and key dates

All nominees must complete and submit nominations by 13:00 on Wednesday 18 March 2020.

An email outlining the voting process will be sent to all members.

An online ballot will take place between Wednesday 23 April and midnight Wednesday 14 May 2020.

Election results will be communicated once position holders have been notified and will be ratified at the BCS Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 3 June 2020
