Hear about the future of cardiology from Nick Linker and Stephen Powis at our free Summit

This free virtual Digital Pathway Summit from 4-8pm on 6 April is a rare opportunity to hear from both NHS England’s national medical director Professor Stephen Powis and national clinical director for heart disease Professor Nick Linker on the new landscape for cardiology. The event is supported by an Educational Grant from Medtronic.

Cardiac care pathways will change the way we work and deliver care across the primary and secondary sectors and also change our working patterns and relationships far beyond cardiology. The Summit is an ideal opportunity to catch up on what the new Cardiac Pathway Improvement Programme (CPIP) means for the patient journey between primary and specialist care.

The event also includes a 'Dragon's Den'-style competitive showcase - local teams will present new programmes aimed at enhancing clinical pathways for patients between primary and specialist cardiac care, in line with CPIP. The 4 teams chosen from previously submitted abstracts will present to an expert panel who will agree the winning proposal on the night.

Once registered, you will be able to catch up at a time convenient for you if you’re not able to watch live.
