Interactive learning sessions and courses within the conference

Life-Long Learning

2022 marks the tenth year that the BCS is running these highly interactive, moderated sessions that cover the range of the general cardiology curriculum. There are two life-long learning sessions at this year's centenary conference.

The sessions usually last approximately 3.5 hours and consist of 30 multiple choice questions on clinical grey cases. The sessions ran for just under an hour in last years virtual conference.

The same set of questions will be used for both sessions, so please do only book more than one session.

About the session

Audience members respond to the questions using their laptop/tablet/smartphone via Sli.do application for the interactive voting element of the course, so please remember to bring this with you on the day, otherwise you won't be able to participate in the voting.  All information regarding the voting will be provided on the day of the course. The moderators will review the answers with reference to current guidelines and recent publications. Audience interaction is strongly encouraged.

Sessions last year proved extremely popular and with limited places available (50 per session).  Early registration is advisable to ensure a place (and your certificate) issued after the course.

Important information

As places are limited, to avoid no-shows, a £10 registration fee (non-refundable) will be charged per session.
You must register for the conference to book a slot. Attendance of this slot (in additional to booking) will ensure you receive a certificate of participation.

If you do not pre book a slot via registration, you will not receive a certificate for this session.
