British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (BSCI)

For medical and non medical specialists and generalists, both senior and junior, who are interested in cardiac imaging

British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (BSCI)

The society has been in existence for over 25 years, initially as the Cardiac Radiology Group, then as the British Society of Cardiac Radiology, and more recently as the BSCI.
Welcomes membership from medical and non medical specialists and generalists, both senior and junior, who are interested in cardiac imaging. Affiliated to both the Royal College of Radiologists and the British Cardiovascular Society. While there are several societies in existence which represent the interests of individual cardiac imaging modalities only the BSCI represents cardiac imaging as a whole.
The objectives of the society are to:
  • Promote the highest standards of practice of cardiac imaging in the United Kingdom.
  • Promote the exchange of information, education and training in all aspects of cardiac imaging.
  • Advise the Royal College of Radiologists and British Cardiovascular Society regarding cardiac imaging.
  • Nurture and evolve the links between the cardiology and radiology communities.
